Snooky Rico ~ President of LYTI
With over 50 years in the beauty industry as a professional cosmetologist, educator, and CEO of Rico’s on 3rd Salon, Snooky brings both skill and heart to her work. As a breast cancer survivor, her journey reshaped her life in profound ways. Supported by family and friends through her own treatment, she discovered a new purpose: to help women preserve their identity and dignity while navigating cancer. From that calling, her nonprofit Loving You Through It was born—a private, nurturing space where women are reminded that they are more than their diagnosis. Snooky is a wife of 48 years, mother of four, and grandmother of five. Her strength, compassion, and resilience continue to guide the mission and spirit of the organization.
Eleanor Olivas ~ Chief Financial Officer
Eleanor has dedicated her life to service, leadership, and community empowerment. She is a wife of 48 years, mother of three, and grandmother of eight. She has spent more than six years as a leader in the California Federation of Women’s Clubs, including serving five years as Vice President of the Chula Vista chapter. AsCFO of Loving You Through It, Eleanor oversees budgeting, grant writing, fundraising, and event coordination to ensure women battling cancer receive access to wigs, treatments, and support services. Beyond her work in the community, she enjoys glass art, gardening, travel, and biking along California’s coast.
Michelle Harrison ~ Board Member
A lifelong resident of Chula Vista, Michelle has been deeply rooted in the local community both professionally and personally. She has worked in insurance since 1987 and currently manages a longstanding Farmers Insurance agency, helping clients protect what matters most. Michelle is also a licensed cosmetologist specializing in color and color correction, working in the South Bay salon community for over 30 years. Her commitment to service includes organizing charity events, cancer awareness fundraisers, food drives, and leading volunteer stylist teams—such as providing monthly haircuts for families transitioning out of homelessness at St. Vincent de Paul. Her work reflects her belief in showing dignity, confidence, and care to others.
​Cassandra Foster ~ Board Member & Spiritual Advisor
Cassandra Foster is an ordained minister, pastor, and founder of Extended Hands Worldwide Ministries, established in 2009. With more than three decades of ministry experience, she has dedicated her life to faith, compassion, and service.
Ordained in 1992, elevated to Pastor in 1998, and honored with a Doctorate of Divinity in 2005, Dr. Foster brings spiritual guidance and heartfelt encouragement to everyone she meets. Her deep compassion and unwavering dedication have made her an invaluable part of Loving You Through It, where she supports women with grace, faith, and love throughout their healing journey.
Wes Anderson ~ Board Member & Support Chaplain
For more than 30 years, Wes has served individuals and families throughout San Diego. After 16 years as an executive pastor, he founded a nonprofit and continues to serve as chaplain to several police departments. For more than 10 years he has been part of a trauma response team supporting families through unexpected loss and crisis. Known for his compassion and ability to lead with care, Wes also provides leadership training and consulting. His self-care comes from spending time outdoors—hiking, mountain biking, and appreciating God’s creation.
Michele Madden ~ Chaplain
Michele has served as a chaplain since 2011, supporting individuals and families affected by suicide loss and those struggling to find hope. In 2023, Michele was diagnosed with breast cancer and joined Loving You Through It for support during her treatment. Soon after, she stepped into the role of Chaplain for the organization, offering spiritual encouragement and reminding women that they are seen and supported through every step of their journey. Michele also leads a Bible study for women navigating cancer, bringing faith, compassion, and gentle guidance to the community.

Martha Mendez ~ Board Organization & Communications
Martha is a retired Human Resources vice president with a strong background in leadership and community service. She has served as President of the San Diego Employer’s Advisory Council, the San Diego Hispanic Bankers Association, and the National Association of Hispanic Bankers. Diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in 2011, Martha chose a treatment path guided by research and self-advocacy, undergoing a double mastectomy and long-term hormone therapy. Her experience inspired her to help others through their own journeys. Martha provides organizational and communications expertise. She is also a dedicated volunteer with Loving You Through It.
