Who Are We Looking For...
Events & Fundraisers
We appreciate and welcome all volunteers who are willing to assist during special events!
LYTI hosts, as well as participates in, numerous events throughout the year. Some are annual events and some are one-off fundraisers.
Tasks may include: event set-up & take down, and interacting with community members, cancer patients and their families during events.

"Sharp Goes Pink" - one of our annual events held in October at the Douglas & Nancy Barnhart Cancer Center at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center, where we use washable pink hair dye to color hair and beards for the day, honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

One-on-One Patient Care
One of the most important services we provide for our clients is one-on-one care. This service takes place in our private LYTI room, allowing cancer patients to feel safe, understood, and loved! Some services may include head shaving, wig fitting & styling, scarf tutorials, and make-up tutorials - just to name a few.
We are looking for compassionate and kind hearted professionals who are passionate about working with women who are currently undergoing cancer treatments, as well as those who have completed treatments. Please review the requirements below for eligibility.
Requirements:
Professional & licensed cosmetologists and/or barbers, who are comfortable & experienced with wig fitting/styling & head shavings
