Michelle has lived in the community of Chula Vista my entire life. Born at Bay General Hospital (now know as Scripps Chula Vista), graduated from Chula Vista High School, attended Chula Vista Beauty College and
Southwestern College. I’m employed and I also reside in Chula Vista.
I have been providing insurance in the local area since 1987. Currently, I manage a Farmers Insurance
Agency that has been in our community for over 40 years. My specialty lies in personal lines and
business insurance. Over the years, I’ve advised and helped countless clients find the coverage to
protect themselves and give them peace of mind.
Aside from the Insurance business, I’ve also been a license cosmetologist in the South Bay since 1988.
Working with the same stylist team for well over 30 years. In the salon, I primarily specialize in color and
color correction. During my time working in cosmetology, I’ve been involved numerous fundraisers and
special events. This includes, holiday food drives, breast cancer awareness events, cancer walks, annual
Salvation Army holiday meals, and self-improvement clinics. In 2009, I was asked to create a volunteer
hairdresser team at St Vincent De Pauls in downtown San Diego. My team provided haircuts for the
residents in transitional housing for homeless families. For over 2 years, residence transitioning back
into the job market could sign up and receive haircuts once a month.
